Re-launched in July 2016, Dalkeith Country Park really does have something for everyone, whether you're looking for a family trip out or a day spent lunching and shopping. Fort Douglas play park is magical for little ones with turreted treehouses, suspension bridges, slides, climbing walls and secret tunnels of this brand new playground. It has two amazing play zones: one that’s perfect for children up to the age of five and another for six to twelve year olds. Sorry grown-ups, the equipment is for kids only, but we do have coffee up there in Restoration Yard and our gorgeous new kiosk (with bathrooms too). You'll also find archery and zorbing in Fort Douglas at busier times. Restoration Yard is a place for eating, shopping and relaxation. Come explore our gorgeous new retail, dining and wellness space located in the newly renovated stable yards at Dalkeith Country Park.
