**PART OF MIDLOTHIAN HERITAGE WEEK 2018**

Following from a revised archaeological report of Stobs Mill Gunpowder Works, funded by the Gorebridge Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme, this led discussion will shed light upon what we know about the site. The earliest surviving example of a gunpowder works in Scotland, the walk will aim to tease out information of the ruinous remains to establish what exactly the site was used for, why Gorebridge, and the explosive history it hides.
