Midlothian Council has recently purchased an on-line funding database which holds information on thousands of grant and loan schemes which could help you find the perfect solution to your funding gap.
It holds information on sources of local funding, charity and trust funding, government funding and lottery and European funding. The system is easy to use and funding programmes are grouped together under clear headings for example:
- Education & Training
- Culture & Tourism
- Social & Community
- Infrastructure
- Construction Repair & Refurbishment
- Sport & Recreation
The system can be accessed at http://www.open4community.info/midlothian and after registering your details you can make as many funding searches as you like.
Midlothian Council's Economic Development Section can also provide a service to help you complete a more in-depth funding search. The Economic Development team has a software package which holds additional detailed information on sources of PUBLIC SECTOR and BUSINESS funding to help you identify the best funding source to fit with your project.
