Gilmerton Cove is a series of underground chambers and passageways hewn from the solid rock hidden beneath the streets of Gilmerton on the South side of the City. Disputed origins range from a Masonic meeting place, Covenanter's Church, Witches Coven and a secret drinking den for gentry. Perhaps you can help solve the mystery on a guided tour. Open all year round Monday - Sunday by appointment.
