Celtic Trails offers uniquely researched attractive tours in Midlothian and beyond. We are a small team of highly experienced special guides leading small personalised tours of Scotland's ancient sites from the prehistoric, Celtic and medieval periods, as well as gardens, genealogy, walking, Masonic and architectural tours. The owner Jackie Queally is the longest established external tour guide to Rosslyn Chapel and Templar sites in Scotland, and has published six books on historical topics, including a popular selling expert guide on Rosslyn Chapel's carvings, and another on the sacred geometry of chapel and landscape. Day tours offer anyone interested an opportunity to dowse energy / ley lines.. with historical and sacred aspects covered in depth. Longer tours include Iona, Glen Lyon and Lindisfarne (over the border.. just!). Specialised programmes offer trips to Norway tracing links with the Sinclairs of Scotland, or experience Rennes Le Chateau and Rosslyn on longer experiential mystical study tours.
